Posting issues!!

So I have been trying all week to post our new family pictures and for some reason blogger keeps telling me that the location or something is not correct and it keeps kicking me out and won't load the pictures, it acts like it is loading them and then it sits there forever and then kicks me out! It's really getting annoying and I was wondering if any one else is having the same problems?

Let me know
Thanks!

Thanksgiving, Parade and November Randomness!

We have had a busy month of November and a lot of fun as well. Thanksgiving day we ate at my parents house, my brother and his family were here this year from Oregon and it was fun having them spend it with us again, the last few years they have lived farther away and did not make the travels down and so it was great they could be here this year.

Later that night we went to one of Lance's aunts house for pie and visiting with the Holbrook family.

Friday the day after Thanksgiving our Dance studio is always in the Parade in West Valley and this year we lucked out and had no snow and pretty nice weather, alittle chilly but much better than years past. We had Dancers that marched and then we had the little girls riding on the float.

And Saturday my niece Jade was baptized and we had a nice time spending the morning with her for her special day and then having a little lunch at her house after. Later that day we had family pictures and it was a bit interesting with my kids, they were very cold outside and did not want to smile or have anything to do with pictures. So we only got a few which I am sad about, but I guess we will just try again another time. I will post those later once I get them back!

So I am posting pictures from all those events and then some random ones of my cute kids hanging out at home. Enjoy!

Us at my parents house on Thanksgiving!

This is what our Dance shirts say on the back, my mom even made one for Sadie and my niece Ireland. They were so cute and little.
Sawyer even got a new outfit to wear in the Parade

My handsome little man
And then here is some random ones of the kids at home. Every morning they wake up and come in and Watch Mickey Mouse clubhouse and have a little drink. I found these cute cups with lids and straws at Walmart and they love having their own. They are always wanting to drink with a straw so I thought these were cute.

Sawy loves playing with my oven mitts And here is Sadie, she put her boot on all by herself and on the correct foot. She loves wearing her shoes around and will say "Shoes" she is all girl and loves dressing up.

I thought this was cute, this was at my parents house and they were in the room playing and eating cookies at the little table. My kids love Ryker and Ireland, they are my sister Michele's last two kids of her 6 and Ryker and the twins are a year almost to the day apart and then Ireland and the twins are just a year and 5 months apart so they are all best buddies!

Family and Football!

My nephew Colt plays little league football for Riverton and they were able to play their championship games this last week at the Rio Tinto Stadium and so I went with some of my family while Lance stayed home with the kids to watch him. It was just too cold to take the kiddo's out there. But we had a fun time and here are some pictures from the night!

My beautiful and oldest niece Sydney and I at the game trying to stay warm.
The team getting ready to play
My cute nephew Dillon hanging out at the game, keeping us entertained. He is the funniest kid, I love him. He was giving me the biggest cheese smile. :)
And here are some of us after the game, my sister Tiffany, nephews Dillon and Colt, me and my niece Sydney. It was so windy and cold.

Our trip to the Zoo!!

Lance had the day off last Thursday so we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and take the kids to the Zoo. This is only their second time going and they seemed to enjoy it and were able to see alot of the animals better this time. We all had a great family day!

Sadie watching some of the Monkey's playing
Sawyer was watching the Monkey's very closely
Me and the kids at the Penguins
Lance and the kiddo's
I wanted to get the kids picture taken in front of the big Elephant, but when it started making loud noises it scared the heck out of Sawyer and he started crying and then he would not look at the camera he just wanted to get away from it.
Here is the cute baby Elephant and his Mommy
The kids hanging out in the Stroller
Here is the cute Giraffe that we saw last time we were there, he has grown a lot since then.
This one was hanging over the fence and kept sticking his tongue out at everyone.
The kids were getting tired at this point
This picture is funny, looks like Sadie is trying to pick Sawy's nose.. But she just happened to put her hand up by his face just as I was taking the picture. :)

Halloween Fun, picture overload!! ( I know I am late with these)

I know I am late in getting these up, but again it just so much easier to load pictures on my Facebook page than blogger, seems to take so much longer and drives me crazy! But here they are and there are a lot of them, so enjoy!

Sawyer getting ready to carve his pumpkin, they were so excited when I put them on the table.
Sadie was super excited as you can see, she is such a cute little cheesier.
Here they both are checking out the big pumpkin
Sadie watching Daddy get all the guts out, she could not wait to touch them..

Feeling the guts and goo..
Sadie sharing some of her seeds with bubba

Sawyer's turn to feel the guts and seeds, he thought that since we put them in front of him that he had to eat them, I guess since when we put food in front of him we tell him to eat it and so he thought he had to eat those too, it was funny and the look on his face was like what the heck is this. Sadie bug digging into the pumpkin
Sawy boys turn
Sadie could have played with the lid all night, she was mad when I tried to take it away from her
Sawyer playing with more guts and seeds.. I think this was when he actually tried to eat them. We had so much fun doing the pumpkins this year with them, last year they were still too little and so it was great being able to start some fun family traditions this year that they actually liked and could do.

Halloween day and night! I just realized that I posted the Halloween one's backwards, so the ones I took of the kids during the day are last and the ones of us on Halloween night are first! Owell you still get to see all the pictures..
Here is Sadie at Grandma Holbrooks getting ready to go Trick or Treating..
Sawyer with his bucket that Grandma Kuehne bought them, also getting ready to go get some candy!
Sadie and I at one of the neighbors of Grandma Holbrook getting ready to Trick or Treat
Sawyer and Daddy leaving the first house of the night
The four of us before heading out the the street to get candy, we could not get the kids to smile for anything... And Sadie's strap kept getting in the way of her mouth. But they both still look cute!
OK, so here is what should have been posted first.. My parents and sister Michele and fam went to have Halloween with my bro and fam in Oregon this year and so Britt and I decided to take our kids and go see my Grandma Dillon anyway since we usually all go together. So here is Britt and my cute kids.
Mr. Froggy Me and the cutest Flower and Froggy My niece Kasidee and Sadie
Sawyer and my nephew Dillon
Sadie was loving the sucker that Kasi gave her
The kids and my Grandma Dillon and Uncle Jim

Here are some fun one's that I took of them at our house

My sweet little Flower

It was super cute, they both kept laughing at each other and pointing to each other's hats, I guess they didn't realize that they both had something on their heads so they were laughing at each others!
Sawyer was getting annoyed with me taking his pictures, so this is the face he gave me!
Sawy in his Halloween shirt and yes he has a big bruse on his face, he is such a boy and climbs on everything and he fell and hit the tile.. That one is all better now, but he has a new one on his forehead.. I need to put him in a bubble..
My sweet boy
The two of them together, I could only get one of them to smile at a time.. I tried a million pictures and boy it sure is hard now that they are mobile and don't want to sit still or smile. Last year I could just sit them and they wouldn't move! It was really crazy trying to get them to sit still. :)
Smiley Sadie, Sawy was smiling but not looking up, stinker!

Sadie in her Halloween shirt

Sadie kept trying to get away from me here
She kept just wanting to stand on the couch, their new favorite thing since they have figured out how to get up on it on their own..
My sweet little girl..

Well I hope you all enjoyed the pictures, if you stuck with me and looked at them all. And hope you all had a fun Halloween this year, now onto Thanksgiving! I can't believe the year is coming to a end..

October fun at Grandma and Grandpa Kuehne's house!

I know I said that I was not going to post till after Halloween.. But I took some cute pics of the kids yesterday at my parents and decided to share them now! My parents are leaving out of town with my sister Michele and her family to go and spend Halloween with my oldest brother and his family in Oregan this year, which will be great for them since they have not been with cousins on Halloween for years, but it will be weird to have them gone from us for the holiday. Anyway so my Mom decided since we normally go to the Pumpkin patch the weekend they will be gone that she would make one of her own at her house and the kids could go and pick out a pumpkin to take home. She went a bought a bunch of pumpkins and the kids had fun finding which one they wanted. So here are some pics of my kids getting theirs.

Sadie bug was being such a cheeser, this picture just makes me smile when I look at it!

And my handsome little boy. This was one of the only pictures that I actually got his face with a smile. He wanted nothing to do with the camera and as you will see in other pictures that he was pretty annoyed most the time with me, he just kept looking away when I would try and take one of him. ( I will say he was kinda not feeling that great yesterday so I will let it slide) lol.. He is still so cute anyway!

I love this one of Sadie. She was watching all the older kids get their pumpkins and just took a rest sitting on her pumpkin.

Sawyer enjoying playing around with his cousins.

Sadie also loved climbing on the pumpkins.

Sadie trying to bug her baby brother, he was not liking it!

Sadie being a cheese ball again. She was really enjoying herself.

Everyone checking out the pumpkins

This picture just cracks me up! He was so annoyed with me taking his picture and Lance kept trying to get him to sit so I could try and get one and this was the face he gave me! I am such a mean Mommy! It makes me laugh every time I look at it, my poor little boy how dare I try and take his picture!
Sawyer feeling his pumpkin, he was not so sure about it at first.

Sadie feeling hers, she kept giving us funny faces when she would touch the top part and it was poky

Sawy and Daddy getting ready to put the pumpkins in the car.
Happy Halloween everyone!!

Twins 15 month check up and sickness at our house!

Well this past week Lance and I took the kids for their 15 month check up and shots! The weekend before I had been super sick with Strep Throat and so I was hoping by Monday (the day of their appointment) I would be well enough to go with them. Luckily I got some meds in me from the Doctor and was much better by then. Though that morning Sadie woke up with a temp of 101. and so I was pretty sure that she would not be able to get her shots, which I was bummed because then that meant I would have to go back yet again and get her's re done! Owell, there was nothing we could do about it so off we went to their appointment.

Sadie had also had a cough for a few days and so we were going to ask about that as well. I forgot to mention that Sawy had woken up that same morning with a croupy sounding cough.. Seriously this sickness thing was never ending at our house. So we got to the appointment and before we left home we had given the kids Motrin for their shots so that when they got them they would not be in so much pain afterwards. We got them all weighed in and they were so UN happy with that this time, normally they are fine but I think because they were both not feeling like themselves they did not want any strange people touching them or even looking at them.

So we got that all done and then the Pediatrician come back in and we talked a bit about Sadie and her fever and since I had just had strep they decided to take a test on her as well since she had the cough and now high fever. Hers came back negative, but when she checked her ears her left one was infected. So we at least knew why she had the fever and got some antibiotics for her. She checked Sawyer out and said that he looked fine and to just watch his cough and come back in if it got worse. He seems to be doing better with it and seems fine now. So Sawyer got his shots which he freaked out again, some strange lady was bugging him again and all he wanted was for Daddy to hold him.
So after all that craziness we went over and got Sadie's prescription filled and took them home for a good long nap.
I am hoping that since we have all been sick already this year that it is not a sign of things to come the rest of fall and winter, I hate being sick and I don't like when my kids are sick it is just no fun at all. I still have a cough and so does Sadie, but hopefully soon we will all feel better and I can take her back in and get her shots taken care of.

Well here are their 15 month stats:
Sadie -
Weight: 18 lbs 11 oz. 5 %
Height: 30 3/4" 70 %
Head: 17 1/2 15 %

Sawyer
Weight: 22 lbs 8 oz. 20%
Height: 32 1/2" 85%
Head: 18 3/4 60%

So as you can see my kids are Tall and skinny! Sadie has always been very petite and I think she always will be. The Doctor said she is not worried and that they both look good and healthy so we are happy about that! :)

They are both doing so well and just continue to make us laugh and we are just so happy to be their Mom and Dad. They are growing up way to fast for me though. It sure is fun though seeing all their new fun things they are doing and learning. Sawyer can do somersault's all by himself now and Sadie is getting pretty good at them herself, she still needs some help turning over but they are both so proud of each other when they do it and it's so cute to watch!
We love them so much!

We have had a busy October already and I will get some pictures posted of all the craziness soon. My Grandma Dillon ( my mom's mom) turned 90 this year and so we had huge surprise party for her and had lots of fun people come from out of town and we had a great time with cousins and extended family. My oldest brother and his family came into town and hung out with us for the weekend and we got some fun pictures at the party that I will be posting soon. I got sick that weekend and that Saturday the rest of the family went to Fright mares and so I was sad that I missed out on that this year, I was going to send my kids with my parents but then decided to keep them home, I am kinda glad now that I did because they said it was super cold, even though they all had fun! I will probably not post again till after Halloween and then I am sure I will have picture overload!! Till then enjoy the rest of October and I will be back soon with more to post. Happy Halloween to everyone! Love, The Holbrooks

Some of the things that have been happening at our house!

Well it has been forever since I have posted! I think it is actually my longest in between posts. Life has been crazy busy and to be honest I have had major issues loading pictures on blogger and it is just so much easier to add them on my Facebook account! So for those who have already seen these on my FB page, sorry!

We have had a lot going on at our house. A week ago when I was driving to my Mom's to teach Dance my car just decided it didn't want to run anymore and it died right on the freeway with me and the kids in it! Luckily I was able to get it pulled over to the side and call my dad to come and tow me off the freeway since Lance was back in Bountiful and I was in Taylorvilles almost to get off the Redwood road exit! So my Dad was at work and was the closet one to come and get me.

It was a very stressful thing for me, the minute that I talked to my dad I just started crying! I guess it's just that thing that happens when something is wrong and I hear one of my parents voice I loose it! Cry baby I know! lol

But we were able to finally get my car safely off the freeway and get my kids out of the hot car and into my Dad's cool truck.

So we decided that we would check it out at my parents and see what was up, so my Dad and bro Derek looked at it and figured I needed a new battery so we went and bought one of those and it did get the car started, but it was still making a horrible noise, so now it was time to call one of my good friends Andy from HS that is a Mechanic and take it to him to have it looked at. I am so glad I have a good Mechanic who will be honest with me and tell me straight up what is wrong with it. So we got it towed to his shop and found out that I needed a new Water pump, Timing belt and Timing tensionor belt ( whatever that is) seriously I am not very car savy and have no idea what most things are, lol..
But he got it all fixed for me and now it runs awesome! So I thank him very much!! Can't say it was cheap, but it is fixed and I am happy!

Now if we could just get Lance's car to stop doing weird things. I tell ya I so hate car problems. Luckily I have had my car 5 years and this is the first major thing we have ever had to fix on it ( knock on wood) so it really has been a good car.

Then onto other things that have been going on. We have been able to do some fun family things and that is always nice. We went to the State Fair as that is a Kuehne family Tradition and my kids loved it this year. Sawyer kept trying to get in the cages with all the animals. Last year they were only 2 months old when we went and Sawyer slept the hole time in his car seat and Sadie cried most the night, so this year was a much better time for all of us! I apologize for the not great quality of pictures, for some reason my camera got set to some weird setting and it looks kinda faded and I for the life of me can not figure out how to get it back to normal. I have no idea how it got that way in the first place. So some of them look kinda faded or blurry..

I have posted some pictures below of that so check them out.

Sadie checking out the animals
Sawyer and Jade petting the goat
Sadie and Grandma looking at the goat

Sawyer thought it was so fun that he could touch the animals
He really wanted to get in the cage with them.
Watching the smelly pigs, I think his face says it all!

Sadie eating her chicken nuggets, such healthy food at the fair! Yum..

We also did Grandparents Day again up in Park City and this is always way fun! We all get together and give my parents their Calendar that we all do a scrapbook page for our own kids and then put them together on a Calendar for my parents house. We go up to a Park called Washington Park in PC and we eat dinner and the kids get to run and play and then we get to go over to the Baseball field that they have and play kick ball or baseball. The kids all love it and so do the adults! This year the weather was a bit rainy so we had to take cover for a few minutes till it pasted. Here are the pics from that day.

My parents and our kids
Another one, we were trying to get Sawy to smile, no luck!

Me and my cute little man

The Grandkids, my parents and my Grandma who will be 90 next month. All the kids love Grandma Dillon. We are missing my 3 cute nephews from Oregon in this picture, we miss them so much! This is 13 of my parents 17 Grandkids and we have one more new baby to be born into the family in March!
My little climber boy
Here is me and my Sadie bug at the park, it had started raining and so we were waiting under the pavilion staying dry.
We kept trying to get Sadie to look at the camera and she just kept looking at me and smiling and laughing, she is such a silly girl.
Sadie playing on the play ground. It's so weird to think just a year ago they were in the snugli's when we went last and this year they were running all over the place all by themselves.

My cute nephew Ryker and Niece Makele
My oldest sister Tiffany and Sadie. Sadie loves her!
I love this picture, Sadie was hugging Tiff so tight, So cute!
My munchkins eating their yummy dinner
Lance and my niece Bailee. She is my sister Michele's oldest of her 6 kids
My kids were loving playing with the ball and bat. Sawyer loves any type of ball and lopves to kick them around, and he is really good at it.
And these last few pics are of when we went to watch my awesome nephew Colt play Football.

Colt, Sadie and Sawyer
The nieces and nephews all came to watch and cheer him on as well.
And here is the little football player. He is really good and enjoys playing the sport. I have another nephew who plays in Oregon and I wished we were able to go and watch him play as well.

Well I will try and do better at updating the blog more often. Hopefully things will slow down a bit in our lives... Ya right! :) I had one of my friend Heather's wedding this past weekend and that was a busy day, I will try and get some of those pictures posted soon!

Anniversary, Vegas and the kids at home..

Lance and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary on August 27Th. And we were able to go to Las Vegas for 4 days and celebrate. We left the kids with my parents and went from Thursday to Sunday and it was a lot of fun and so nice to get away just the two of us. We went the weekend before our actual Anniversary since that was when Lance had time off, but it worked out and then on our actual Anniversary night we were able to leave the kids with my parents once again and go out to dinner at the Outback Steak house. So Thank you so much Mom and Dad for taking and loving our kids while we were gone.

I still can't believe how fast the last 5 years have gone and how much our lives have changed and I am so lucky and grateful for all of it and would not change a thing. I have a wonderful husband who works so hard for us and two great kids and I love them all. Thanks honey for loving me and being my best friend, I love you!

I am posting pictures of our Vegas trip and also pictures of our cute kids. :)
They are changing all the time and getting so big and just are really fun and happy kids.

This is a picture of Lance and I just about a month after we were married and I found it and thought it would be a fun one to post. And here we are 5 years later and 2 kids... We had a good time in Vegas even with the high and hot temps. I melted most days and thought I was going to pass out a few times. So you will see that I look tired and red in the face in this picture. But we had a great vacation and that's all that matters. :)
Here is Lance at the M&M store by the Nascar car. We took one with him and I next to the car, but I look horrible so I am not posting it!

We did the taste testing of drinks at the Coke store and some of them were so nasty, I made Lance test first and then if they were really gross I would not try them. ha ha, but I had to try some of the nasty ones, just not the real horrible ones. It was fun! My favorite was the Red Flash from the USA, I drank all of that!

Here are the kids playing at home. Sawyer thought it was really funny to put his bath towel on his head and run around the house giggling! He is such a funny kid.

One morning I was getting ready to load some pictures on the computer and they came over to see what I was doing and so I got the camera back out and told them to smile and he gave me a big cheese!
Sawyer decided he was going to use the play Mailbox as a horse, it kept him busy for quite sometime. Then I decided since they were playing so cute together that I would try and get some pictures of them together. Sawyer was not really having any of it and just kept trying to get away. Sadie on the other hand was a ham, she loves the camera and having her picture taken. Here is another one where I could not get Sawyer to look at me, they were both being so silly

I told Sadie to smile for me and this is what she did, put her hand on her face and gave me a cheese!!
And another cheese smile with drool and all.. :)
And here Sawyer was actually trying to be good and pose for me and then sister decided to walk by and give him a sister "love tap", It was a little more than just a tap and he was not happy! Poor kid. We love this kid so much.

And Sadie being my little poser again. She is all girl and we love her so much.
