Party time for two!

Here are the party pictures finally. We had a crazy and busy day trying to get everything ready and I was hoping all day that the rain would stop so we could still do it at the park and finally around 3:00 when it was still raining we thought we better make a plan B so that we could let everyone know what we were doing. So we called a guy in our Stake and asked if anyone was using the church that night and so very lucky for us no one was. So Lance ran over and got the keys and we decided to wait another hour or so to make the final decision since we figured we had the keys if we needed them. So at the very last minute we had to move it to the church. Luckily we were able to send out a big text to all our family and friends and let them know it would not be at the park this year!
But it ended up working out and I am so glad that we decided to get the ward house. We all stayed dry and all the kids had a place to run free still. Good thing that the deposit on the Pavilion wasn't too much so I didn't feel to bad about not being able to use it.

The Birthday girl, the morning of their birthday!
The Birthday boy also the big morning. I wanted to get them both together before I took them in to open presents They love to be silly Sawyer as always trying to grab the camera And here is our attempts to get some pictures in their Birthday outfits. The first two are cute and then they started to be silly again.
Sadie was all about the camera and having her pics taken, Sawyer was not so sure.
Sadie bug being so serious, I think it's funny how she is holding her mouth makes her cheeks look so chubby! Sawyer would not look at me, he kept being shy! And here is my silly little girl. I asked her to smile for me and this is what I got! :)Here are some of the gifts that Lance and I bought them. Their water table and float things for the pool. I didn't get any pictures of the other ones we bought them. And I totally forgot to take a picture of all of their other toys they got from the party too, they got spoiled. Thanks to everyone who brought all the fun stuff for them. It was like Christmas all over again.
Here they are waiting patiently while we try and hurry and set things up at the church
Here is their fun balloons my parents bought them, their Mylar balloons have Mickey and Minnie on them. We kept trying to get a good picture of Sadie's balloon but as you will see it just was not working so well.
My mom trying to hold it down so I can take a picture, we lost Sadie in the big cloud of balloons, lol Here are the cute table cloths I bought And the boy side of coarse, this was my niece Sydney trying to help me put together the center piece of the Mickey and friends. I could not figure it out so thankfully I had her to do it. Here is their cake. They were suppose to put some blue and pink on it but I guess they forgot the pink. It still turned out really cute.

Again it is always a chore to get both kids looking at the camera, So here we are trying to get at least one good one. Sadie just kept wanting to grab the cake.

Finally we got one that we were all kinda looking, I think Sawyer was slipping down Lance is trying to hang on to him. Opening presents, it was so nice having their high chairs their to sit them in to open the presentsSadie got very upset every time I would have to take one away from her to give her another, she didn't understand that she would get to open another. She was very mad!:)

Ready for the cake, we had two small ones for them to dig into. Again Sadie's was suppose to be pink!

Sadie started picking at it right away and really dug in once we stopped singing. She started clapping after everyone sang it was so cute!
Sawyer would only put one finger in and was not so sure he wanted to get messy
Sadie loved it
Sawy getting alittle more into it
She had it all over her, it was funny to watch because she was just shoving it in.

Sawyer finally enjoyed it and this was him after we took it away and ready to clean him up
Sadie was sad when we had to take it away, as you can see she really enjoyed it all!

We want to thank everyone who came and supported us and our kids on their special day. We love you all and had a great time seeing everyone!

Happy 1st Birthday my sweet Sadie and Sawyer ♥ One year ago today our lives changed forever and for the better!!

Today has come so fast and I can't believe that my babies are growing up! The past year has been scary, crazy busy and so much fun! We would not trade it for anything. I still remember the feelings I was feeling last year at this time and it was so overwhelming and wonderful. We had gone in to the hospital at 6 am to be induced and I thought cool, in just a few short hours I will have two new babies and life will be great. Well we waited and waited and waited all day long for those sweet babies to decide that they were ready enough to come. And finally after all day of waiting to get to a 10 it was finally time and at 6:00 pm that night it was time. The nurse wanted me to do a practice run of pushing because she said it could take up to a hour or so since this was my first baby, well as soon as I started to push she was like ok you need to stop baby is coming and we need to wait for the doctor and get you into the room. ( Sadie was right there and wanted out!) So I was wheeled down to the operating room to get all prepped for the delivery and I was so scared, I just wanted everything to be OK with my babies and wanted to see them so bad. :)

So they got me all ready and I had to be in the operating room just in case I needed a C section, luckily both babies were able to stay head down and all went well. By the time we got in there and the Doctor showed up it was after 6 and at 6:46 pm Sadie was born and was so tiny! They took her away over to get all checked out and even before I could see her they took her away to the NICU. :( Then at 6:56 pm after he broke my other water Sawyer was born. He was just a bit bigger than sister, but still looked so small. After they got him all cleaned up they let me see him for a second and kiss him and then he was off to the NICU to be with sister. They were both having a hard time breathing so once Sawyer was born Lance went down there with both of them to make sure they were OK. Then I was taken to my room and called the family and let them know that they were born. I did not get to see them till 11:00 that night and I was dying to see them! It was the best thing ever when I finally got to see them and hold them!

It is still amazing to me that I gave birth to two babies, it was the coolest experience I have ever had and I am so glad that I was able to have this opportunity to bring two little one's into the world and raise them! It has been wonderful for Lance and I too see them grow and change and just be able to have them in our family. We love them so much and can't imagine our lives with out them. So here is what our lives have been like over the past year. We hope you enjoy the pictures.
This was us the night before I had the twins! I look back and think how scared we were that night and excited all in one! I didn't gain much weight since I was so sick. But I think what I did gain it was all in my face, it looks huge in this picture! :) I can't believe I am posting this picture, I think only Lance and my parents have seen this one. But owell, it's on here now! I felt like I was so big, everyone kept telling me I didn't look like I was carrying twins, but I sure felt like I looked it! I was all out in front. My tiny little Sadie bug born first and weighing 4 lbs 7 oz at birth and now around 18 lbs! Yes, she is still tiny and has not gained a hole lot, but she is doing wonderful. ( I don't know her exact weight yet since we have not gone to their 1 year appointment, but think she is around that weight.
My cute Sadie Christine, Lance went in to check on them that night and she was loving her little fingers. Sawyer Lance 5 lbs 11 0z at Birth and now he is 23 lbs! They were both hooked up to things the first night they were born, but by morning they were able to be in my room and I was one very happy new mommy! I worried all night long if they were doing OK and if they would be able to be with me that next day.

Sawy boy
My little man Sadie baby
This was the very first time I actually got to hold them both with out them all hooked up to things. I was so tired that morning as you can see! ( I am still bugged that our camera date was off, it says it's the 2nd that day but it was really the 3rd!) Owell. ( I worry way to much) :)

The morning my two bundles of joy were brought into my room. They were so tiny and precious! My mom put these cute signs out for us at our house. The day we came home with them, so cute and tiny!
