Mommy's little helpers!!

Yesterday morning as I was doing the dishes the twins were playing in their walker seats and the next thing I know Sawyer was right next to me trying to get the silverware out of the dish washer. So I just had to take a few pictures of them helping mommy! They love these chairs and love playing in them. My parents gave them to us for Christmas. We only have a limited space that is tiled in our house ( besides the bathrooms) and that's the kitchen area so they don't have a hole lot of places to walk in them because if they go to far then they hit the carpet in the living and family rooms. And they are hard to walk on carpet with. But they love hanging out in them and playing bumper cars with each other. Sadie's has a button she pushes that sounds like a horn and she is always going up behind Sawyer and bumping him and then she will push the horn. I am pretty sure she doesn't know that is what she is doing, but it is hilarious to watch because it looks like she is trying to get him to move out of the way!

At first when we got them Sawyer could not reach all the way to the ground and Sadie could. Not because she is taller but that they are different walkers and so for some reason his sat taller. Anyway so she would always pass him by and he would just sit there like, what the heck I can't go anywhere. But now he has figured it out too and they both take off.

They love all the noise and songs that they play and it is great for me while I am trying to do something and they don't want to be laying down playing with other toys, they can be in these and get around. Plus we don't have stairs in our house because out where we live none of the houses can have basements because of the water table so I never have to worry that they will take a trip down the stairs in them. :)
Anyway here are the pictures. And there are a few, I went a little picture happy! But they were just being so cute I had to keep snapping pictures.. Enjoy!

Sawyer heading for the dishes!

Sawyer wanting to help mommy, good that he is wanting to start at such a young age!
He is always smiling and when the camera comes out, his smile goes away! I wished just once he would smile for the camera because he has such a cute smile.
Sadie decided she wanted to come and see what all the fun was!

This one was almost a smile from him!

He kept trying to grab the camera from me. So we have a nice close up!

My total girl, she is already always posing for the camera and giving her best smile!

Isn't she just so cute!

My cute little man, he is such a sweetheart I know I say this all the time, but I just love my kids so much and love being a mom!
I Hope you all have a wonderful weekend..

It's time to be going PRIVATE!

Well after a lot of thinking and wondering if going private was for us, we decide that it is. Especially after we found our Blog site on Google after some one had tried to google " Sadie's outfits" for Sadie Hawkins Dances and there it was my little Sadie's pictures of her in a outfit picture we had taken all over the Internet for all to see. I found this out by looking at my "LIVE FEED" and saw someone from California had looked at my blog and since I don't know anyone from there or by the name that it said I looked into it more and that was what I found. Maybe I am just being a little weirded out about it (if that is even a word) and all, but we just want to be safe than sorry!
But we have loved you all being able to see what our little family has been up to, so we would love for you to continue to be able to read about us. So if you will please leave your email address here so I can add you or you can email me at amber_holbrook at hotmail.com and I will send you out a invite!
I didn't want to have to do this because I myself love to look at other people's blogs, but for my kids sake I just want to do it! So this will probably take effect around the first part of February, just to give everyone a chance to get me their info.
Again I hope by doing this we don't loose our great blogging friends! So even if I don't have you on my blogging list and you want to be added let me know as long as I know who I am giving the invite to.

Thanks!
We will see you soon..

It's party time!!

Yesterday we had a family Birthday party for me. We decided to have it at my parents since we have Sunday dinner there. So we just had a small family party with my parents, siblings, some cousins and aunts and uncles and all my nieces and nephews and Lance's parents came down from Kaysville. It was a fun night, we had yummy Cake and Ice cream and I got some great presents! I got lots of gift cards which is awesome. Now I can go and find some fun things for me. Thanks everyone!
Here are some fun pictures from the night!

My cute birthday cake!

Sawyer and I waiting to sing Happy Birthday!
And us again, Sadie had fallen asleep right before we were going to sing. She was not feeling great. So we got a picture with her after she woke up.

The Nieces and Nephews singing to me
The four of us!

Me and my cute kids!

Sadie and I opening presents..

Me showing off the cute jacket my sister Michele and fam gave me. And you will notice my other sister Tiff's hand pointing, she was telling Michele that she wanted the same jacket for her birthday that is on the 29th of this month! She even tried mine on to see if the size was right. haha :)

Sawyer just chillin, you can see all the drool on his bib.. He always soaks them! He also has a nice scratch on his face from his sister.. She loves to grab at his face and give him loves. This time she got a little to much love and made a mark! They just love each other so much.

Michele and I decided that since we have not had any pictures with the twins and Ireland since she was born that we would take some. So here is Sawyer, Ireland and Sadie

And another one. Sawyer was falling over.

Then Ryker wanted to get in to some of them as well. Sadie was trying to cheese it up!

Ireland and Sadie best friends!

They are both so sweet!

Ryker and Sawyer, Ry is totally cheesing it up! I said to him 'smile cute for me Ryker" and this is what he did. He is such a funny kid!

Another one of the boys with out the total cheeser. Looking back I should have take off the twins bibs, but with my luck the second I did that they would have spit up all over their clothes! Owell.

I love these pictures of the cousins, I am so glad that my kids will have these kids to be best buddies with and around their same age to grow up with, since all my other nieces and nephews are all getting so much older. But the older one's are great friends and babysitters too!

I am going to be turning another year older!

I can't believe it has almost already been a year since I turned the big "30"! And another great year has passed me by.. Last year at this time I was finally getting over my morning sickness and was just so excited to be pregnant! And now a year later I have two beautiful 6 month old twins! A good friend of mine Kirsten who I use to work with at the Law Firm has a birthday just a few days after mine on the 19th and for the past few years now we have always gotten together with some of our other friends and gone to dinner. Kirsten was also pregnant the same time I was last year and our kids are just 11 days apart! I think it has always been that we go to Red Robin and we did the same again this year. We went last night and had a great time. And we missed the girls who were not able to be there! I met a lot of these girls either working with them or through the Sorority at the U of U when me and my Best friend Cindy joined up there and they have been such great friends.
It is so fun to have such wonderful friends that I can count on and always are there for me when I need them. I had my camera there last night and did not take one picture! I am sad about that, we always take pictures.. Owell there is always next year. Sadie came along with me and we had a Mommy and me night and that was fun, while Sawyer got to stay home with daddy and play.

But I just wanted to Thank my hubby, family and friends for always being there for me and loving me. I still can't believe I will be 31 tomorrow! I really don't feel that old and as most say that isn't that old. haha
But I have had a wonderful year and I hope that this next year will bring more wonderful things as well. I am very blessed to have so many people who care for me. I love you all!

Sadie and Sawyer's 6 month stats!

OK, so I still have not got the twins pictures taken yet we are still trying to get over their rotten colds, but here are their stats from the doctors appointment today!

Sadie
Weight: 13 lbs 12 oz. ( She is still so little in this department )
Height: 25 1/2 long
Head: 16 1/4

Sawyer
Weight: 16 lbs 11 oz.
Height: 28
Head: 17

So as you can see they are both growing well, I think Sadie will just always be our petite little girl. They both definitely have the Kuehne height!
They both had 3 shots today and they seem to be doing pretty well, while waiting for the nurse to come in to do the shots Sawyer fell asleep so we had to wake him up for shots and we felt so bad. But they both did well and only cried for a minute. Sawyer still has some fluid in his ears and so the Dr. put him on some more meds for another 10 days to see if we can get rid of it. And then if we can just get both of them over their colds we will be good.

So the appointment went good and I am happy that they are both growing and doing well.

My little 6 month cuties!

Today the twins are 6 months old. It has been the best Holiday season having them in our house this year. And I know that next year at this time they are going to be running all over the place and what a difference that will be. We don't go to the doctor till next week so I don't have their stats yet and I have not gotten their 6 month pictures taken just yet either. That we will be doing tomorrow, when we take the annual Kuehne family pictures! So I will post all that later.

But I just love to document every month they grown bigger and we still can't believe how much they have changed since July when we brought them home! We just can't get enough of them and love them so much! They are now eating baby food and they are still trying to figure out if they like it. But they do love their new High chairs that they got for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Kuehne.. Thanks Grandpa and Grammy!

Sawyer looking not so sure, why I just made him eat those nasty Sweet Potatoes!Sadie on the other hand is thinking the Rice Cereal and Sweet Potatoes is quite the delicious meal together.. Sadie looking so tiny in her cool new "big" high chair!Sawyer still giving me the evil eye and wondering why I didn't give him the good stuff "Desserts" first! Those will have to wait my little man. :) Isen't he just so cute!
And last, my two little twiners chillin in their awesome new chairs! This one is kinda dark. I finally emptied my camera and now since Christmas it is nice and full again with pictures so these are from my phone. I keep telling Lance we need to get me a bigger memory card for my camera!
