Hoppy Easter Happenings!

Our Easter weekend was busy, but great! It started on Friday when we went to my parents and did Easter eggs and made cookies. My oldest Brother Lance and his family were able to be here this year from Oregon and this is the first year in a long time since they have lived farther away before and we were so happy they were able to make it this year.
So we all were there baking cookies and coloring our eggs and my kids loved eating the cookie dough.. We only gave them a little bit, but as you will see in the pictures later that they loved it.

Then Saturday we were back at my parents for the Easter egg hunt. We wanted to have my nephews who would be leaving to go home to Oregon on Sunday to be able to do the hunt so we did it on Saturday and the kids had a great time. My parents started years ago putting money in the eggs and each kid gets a certain color or designed egg to look for and this year since we have so many grand kids now they also had names on them so everyone would find the right ones and they would all get the same amount. My Lance was not able to be at the hunt since he worked late that day but he came over after work to be with us. So while I was taking pictures and helping Sadie find hers Uncle Joe, Aunt Michele and Grandpa all took turns helping Sawyer and us find ours.

That night we had a big Birthday party for my younger Bro Derek and nieces Sydney who turned 14 ( she is the oldest grand kid) and Brooklyn who was 7 and Braxton who turned 10 they all have birthday with in a few days of each other Derek and Brook's bdays are on the same day. So we had a big party all together. It was fun!

Then Sunday we got the kids dressed in their cute Easter outfits and headed to my parents for our last day of festivities.. Lance's family was not in town this year so we did not see them for Easter. So as you can see it was very busy, but a lot of fun seeing the family. Now beware because I have a huge overload of pictures. You know me I just can never choose just a few!! But there are so many cute one's of the kids I just had to show you. Enjoy!

Sadie at Grammie and Bompa's enjoying the cookie dough Sawyer was alittle un sure if he liked it or not, but still enjoyed eating it and playing with it

Sawyer digging in to the dough
Both of the kids eating the dough. Just like mommy, the dough is the best part to me!

Makele, Bailee, Jade, Maguire, Dillon, Kasidee and Brooklyn decorating their cookies.

Brittany, helping Dillon roll the dough.

Sawyer and I getting ready to color our eggs

Ryker doing his cookies

Sadie and Grandpa coloring eggs.. I didn't really let my kids use the dye. We just had them hold a egg so we could pretend they were coloring them. Then I did some for our family!

Here is Sadie before going out to hunt for eggs, she wanted to play with brothers basket

Here is Sadie with hers. My mom got all the girls these and the boys had the basketball baskets
My silly nephews Brice and Colt playing around waiting to go out to hunt for eggs. They thought that the baskets looked better on their heads..

Mommy and Sadie outside ready to find our eggs

Sawyer and Aunt Michele. All he wanted to do was suck on his handles of the basket

Sadie excited to show Grammy her eggs she found.

Sawyer checking out his loot!

The twins just wanted to put all the eggs in their mouths, everything these days go right in the mouth since they are teething. By the way Sawyer has two more teeth on the top and now has 6 teeth and Sadie had her first come in on the bottom and one more next to it trying to come in.

Uncle Joe and Sawyer

This is what their eggs looked like. My kids had Noah's ark animals on theirs.

And Sawyer again sucking on this basket! We hope that you all had a great Easter weekend. Ours was great!
